This is to inform some activities during Tasar World Championship 2017 for non-sailing people.
A daily tour to look around the area departs from Kaiyoh yacht harbor on 1st, 2nd and 5th August.
On Tuesday 1st August, the master of tea ceremony (Sado) kindly serves Japanese traditional tea especially for us. It is not easy to experience it as an ordinal tourist and you cannot miss it! Please register to join the Japanese tea ceremony using the application form on or before Saturday 22th of July.
Please note that we’ll take public bus and train for the daily tours and the actual expenses are to be paid on each spot. It is not well-organized tour but you’ll enjoy the real life in Japan! Meeting place will be informed on site and by email if you register in advance.
Some boats to watch the races are available every sailing day for free. Seats cannot be reserved in advance. A list showing the boarding capacity will be posted every morning on site. Please sign on the list if you would like to get onboard the day.
The boats have a restroom and they can come back and forth after each race so you don’t need to hesitate to watch the spectacular about 100 boats starting at once!
Further, non-sailing family/friends of the competitors are welcomed to join the parties as formerly informed.
